Bees was awesome. Very clean, located in ideal spot for tourism. The owners were very accommodating, my wife’s bday weekend, they arranged flowers, gift basket, and of course wine. Can’t wait for the Sunday breakfast. The room was spacious, with lots of antiques, even a pee bucket. Thanks for the hospitality.

My family and I were going to my sisters wedding. My parents have never felt completely comfortable with hotels and this was the first bnd that we’ve ever been to. It was amazing. The layout of the house was something out of a book. The style and furniture made my dad feel as comfortable as he would be at home. He isn’t the most vacation-loving guy but he was perfectly happy at this bnb. My mom loved the beautiful bathroom, as did I. My younger sisters had fun with the stairs that went in a spiral form. It was the best place we could’ve chosen. Neise was the nicest she could’ve been. She still offered to make us breakfast even though we had found out some unfortunate news from her. We had to leave early that morning so my mom told her not to worry about making us breakfast anyway. She also wanted to accommodate my sister’s distinct diet. My sister is used to not always having a variety of food to eat and we weren’t expecting anything different as it’s become my sisters normal experience and yet Neice wanted to accommodate. She is such a kind-hearted person. I wish her the best. I hope anybody who appreciates comfort and kindness chooses Bee’s B and B for there stay.

This was our first stay at a B&B and we loved it! The house is beautifully restored yet maintains its historical charm. The owner Nise was very welcoming and we loved the personal touches, snacks and drinks left out for us. The historical downtown area is walking distance and so charming. Highly recommend!

Lovely place in the heart of Mayberry, USA! Clean, hospitable and great location. “Neece” is a super friendly and gracious hostess. Rooms were cozy, comfortable yet updated. Yummy breakfast and nice southern spaces to hang out. Walkable to everything downtown. If you have the chance, stay here and relax while you enjoy a bit of NC history. Would love to do it again!

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. It felt like being at home. Loved walking into our room with the Andy Griffith show playing. Thank you so much for boarding us. We had a wonderful overnight stay and an excellent breakfast. The Dokas ❤️

Great location, very convenient to everything. Breakfast during the stay was amazing! Best French toast I've had! House was very clean and homey. Hospitality was welcoming and refreshing. Disliked · Not that I didn't like it- but the bed was way too soft for my back (have back problems). Has steps up to the rooms, so be prepared to go up stairs.

If you’re looking for a traditional, warm, cozy bed and breakfast…look no further. I can’t recommend this place enough. We just left and we’re already planning our next visit. The host were so nice, and genuine. The house is so beautiful and cozy. Breakfast was top tier. My favorite touch was when we arrived they had the lamps in our room on, Tv on turned to Andy Griffith, coffee, water and snacks at the ready. It helped us feel comfortable immediately. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. A sweet little hidden gem that I’m so thankful we uncovered. ❤️ I can’t say enough good things about this place or these people.
